This course is designed to guide future educational leaders in the process of sound action research in order to support and sustain positive change to enhance student achievement in K12 schools. Action research provides educators, administrators, and community leaders a method to study localized problems that results in solutions and action plans to address these issues. Over the course of the semester, students will identify a question about the use of technology in their own teaching practice, review the current research literature, develop a plan to collect data, collect and analyze their data, identify emergent themes, create an action plan and write an action research paper.
