Appointed to provide strategic leadership and oversight for all undergraduate academic programs within the College of Education, with primary responsibility for advancing student success initiatives to improve First-Time-in-College (FTIC) 4-year graduation rates, transfer student 2-year completion rates, student retention, and closing achievement gaps across diverse student populations. Lead comprehensive curriculum transformation initiatives, general education reform efforts, and quality enhancement plan implementation while expanding undergraduate research opportunities, online learning platforms, study abroad programs, internships, and service-learning experiences. Collaborate extensively with faculty and academic advisors to develop accelerated pathways and strategies for timely degree completion, while partnering on professional development programs focused on evidence-based best practices for student success. Direct efforts to improve career readiness outcomes and placement rates into high-demand fields and graduate/professional programs through enhanced community-engaged undergraduate programs that strengthen applied learning experiences. Provide administrative oversight for academic program quality assessment, work collaboratively with Decision Support services to monitor graduate student progress and academic program effectiveness, and ensure strategic alignment with institutional goals and compliance with university regulations and accreditation standards.
