Assignment 1: "Intro to Coding" Reflection:

Undertaking the "Intro to Coding" assignment was a monumental first step towards achieving Learning Outcome 1: Basic Programming Skills. Before this, I had never written a single line of code, but by the end, I was able to create a simple program. This gave me a real sense of accomplishment and demystified the coding process for me.

Moreover, this assignment also served Learning Outcome 4: Analytical Thinking. Debugging the code required a meticulous approach to identify errors and correct them, providing a practical exercise in problem-solving.

But most of all, this was my introduction to Learning Outcome 7: Self-Reliance in Technology. For the first time, I was not just using technology but creating with it, a fundamental shift in my relationship with the digital world.

Assignment 2: "Website Design Project" Reflection:

The "Website Design Project" was a comprehensive experience that was directly related to Learning Outcome 3: Web Development Skills. I learned to use HTML, CSS, and even a bit of JavaScript to bring my website idea to life. I was amazed at how textual inputs could transform into a visual experience on the web.

In addition to technical skills, the project also catered to Learning Outcome 5: User Experience Design. I had to consider the layout, color scheme, and navigation to make the website user-friendly, which made me more attuned to the design elements of websites I visit.

After more than a few iterations, I was also able to meet Learning Outcome 8: Project Management. Planning, developing, and finally publishing the website required a structured approach, teaching me important lessons in time management and task prioritization.

Assignment 3: "Digital Ethics Discussion" Reflection:

The "Digital Ethics Discussion" was a meaningful departure from the hands-on coding and designing tasks, and it significantly contributed to Learning Outcome 6: Ethical and Social Implications of Technology. We discussed various topics like data privacy, intellectual property, and online etiquette, making me more conscious of the responsibilities that come with technical skills.

Moreover, this assignment also met Learning Outcome 2: Effective Communication in Technology. I had to articulate my views clearly during the discussions, learning to convey complex ethical considerations in an understandable manner.

But above all, the assignment broadened my perspective, contributing to Learning Outcome 9: Global Awareness in Technology. Discussing international laws and ethical norms in the digital realm made me realize the global nature of any local action on the internet.

In summary, the TEC 9 course assignments have been instrumental in building both my technical and ethical understanding of technology. Each assignment seemed purposefully designed to attain multiple learning outcomes, making the course not just informative but deeply transformative.
